August Course

I am running a short course on the use of tabs and tables in Word on Tuesday 17, Thursday 19 and Tuesday 24 August from 3 to 4.45pm. This is not a beginners course.
This course would be particularly useful for Coordinators needing to draw up a programme for their Group but is useful for any kind of list or even a simple catalogue of your music collection, books or whatever is your ‘thing’.
The course has already been offered to a number of Coordinators but there are still a few places available.

Basic 10 Week Course

I shall be running the 10 week basic ICT course for beginners and those who have taught themselves starting on Tuesday 28 September at Notre Dame High School between 4.10pm and 6pm. The course covers word processing, email, the Internet and file management.

The CLC at Notre Dame School lend us their computer room for our courses free of charge, for which we are very grateful. The computer room is next to reception, just inside the main school entrance on Fulwood Road. The school is on the corner of Fulwood Road and Riverdale Road. If you are coming by car please park on Riverdale Road or near Ranmoor Church.

The cost of a course is £1.50 per session, payable even if you miss a session. £1 is a donation to the City Learning Centre as a thank you for the use of the room. Free tea and coffee are provided. The remaining 50p covers printing costs. You will take away copious instruction sheets. If you bring a memory stick with you you can also take away files so you can go over the worksheets at home.
