The format of meetings is very loose and difficult to quantify. We have a general bring and share lunch every two months to plan activities. These include cinema, theatre, walking, dining, scrabble, card games, dominoes, lectures etc. Activities take place at week-ends and in the evenings.
The Group is limited to 22 members elegible to attend the bring and share lunches every two months due to lack of space. We have three co-opted members elegible to join all the other activities.

A group of people joining forces to explore, one evening a month, the restaurants and pubs of Sheffield and surrounding areas. We try and sample as many different types of venue as possible. We are predominantly ladies. Each person takes a turn in choosing and organising the venue, informing other members of the arrangements etc.

An opportunity for people to to meet, eat and chat in a pleasant accessible place, The Blue Ball at Wharncliffe Side where wheelchair users are welcome as are non-car drivers. Within easy visiting distance of Bolsterstone, Stocksbridge and Wortley.
We meet up on the second Thursday of the month at 12 noon. Members intending to come should make contact with me a week before, so that I can inform the land lord of how many to expect.

Doreen Bezant organises special lunches twice a year with
an entertaining speaker. The venue is usually at The Sheffield
Park Hotel Chesterfield Road South. Any member of SU3A
may apply for a place by completing the application form when
