Walking in Sheffield and Derbyshire, parking cars in car parks or streets/lanes from which the group walks approximately 2 - 4 miles on circular routes finishing with a pub lunch at a local pub. Terrain is variable with simple flat level walks interspersed with more challenging ones which involve ascents and decents. Car availability is essential and capacity of the group is limited to the number of walkers a public house can accommodate for lunch.

We do walks of 3-5 miles in and around Sheffield and North Derbyshire, finishing with a pre-booked pub lunch. (A car is necessary.  We double up, of course, if possible).  Members are encouraged to devise and lead walks as part of the programme.  If inclement weather cancels the walk, we still meet for the lunch we have booked. At Christmas we have a social get-together in a member's home, to which we all contribute food or drink. We operate throughout the the year.
