On 15 July Julian Oakley treated a large group of his fellow walkers to tea and cakes at the 'Penny Pot' cafe in Edale and then twenty two of us set out with him on his farewell walk up Grimesbrook and along the edge of Kinder to near Ringing Roger before descending to Edale again. The weather was blustery but it did not rain.
It was a very good occasion only marred by the fact that Julian is leaving us!
We all wish Julian and Jane many happy years near their families in the deep south!
